The Poultry Congress runs the Poultry Display at the Big E Fair each year in exchange for a discount on our rent bill, which we could never afford without this discount from the Big E.
We need to have someone man the display each day from open to close. The shifts are 10a.m.-5p.m. and 5p.m.-10p.m.. What it consists of is just sitting at the display and talking chicken with the visitors. You get to take chickens and baby chicks out for interaction with the people. The amazement and joy that this brings to kids, city folks, and senior citizens is so satisfying.
The dates of the fair this year are: September 15th, 2017 through October 1st, 2017.
You will be provided with a free parking pass and free admission to the fairgrounds.
